The role:

The Account Manager will be an established and proven expert in PPC, and with strong capabilities in at least one other Paid Media channel (Display, Paid Social, Mobile/App Promotion, Native advertising).

This role requires an understanding of the way in which channels interact and complement one another, as well as the technical capabilities to execute high-performance paid campaigns.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Working closely with clients to ensure a full understanding of their business, digital needs and priorities
  • Working closely with the Head of Digital and Account Director to ensure all accounts have a performance & commercial strategy
  • Working closely with suppliers to ensure that the team are constantly at the forefront of industry developments
  • Ensuring all activity meets or exceeds clients performance expectations

  • Management of junior members of the team to ensure that work is delivered to an exceptional standard, on target and on time
  • Quality control of work conducted by junior and more operational members of the team
  • Working with the Head of Digital and Account Director across a range of tasks including recruitment training, new business, media supplier relationships, technology and automation

Experience/Skills required:

  • Solid experience working in PPC campaign delivery, ideally gained in an agency environment
  • Proven track record of delivering projects and results for clients with monthly budgets of £10,000+
  • Proven track record of achieving E-commerce targets (sales and revenue volume, CPA, ROI, ROAS)
  • Proven track record of developing junior team members
  • Proven track record of bringing efficiency to client activity in terms of both performance and resource levels
  • Experience of working in travel/retail/insurance beneficial
  • Experience of executing campaigns within other Paid Media channels beneficial (training will be provided if not, as eventually the role will encompass this responsibility)
  • Strong understanding of wider digital channels and environment
  • Highly organised with an acute attention to detail
  • Exceptional level of English, both written and spoken
  • Strong numerical and analytical capabilities, including use and creation of Excel formula
  • Capabilities with AdWords scripts or Java beneficial

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Solid experience working at a digital media company with expsoure in video pre-roll advertising
  • Strong technical knowledge
  • Basic knowledge of VAST, VPAID, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and ability for debugging creative errors and player issues
  • Experience working with online video platform such as Brightcove, Ooyala etc
  • Demonstrable knowledge of RTB, audience data collection / tracking; ad network strategies and tactics, audience targeting best practice, ad serving, media reporting and analytics in web, mobile and video
  • Knowledge of every changing digital landscape and industry rules and governance
  • Experience with setting up video campaigns in DFP, setting up waterfalls/ passbacks

The Role:

This exciting role will involve maximizing the performance of client’s social campaigns through monitoring and optimizing campaigns and helping to alleviate other team member workload and will include the following:

  • Monitoring and optimizing Performance to both Brand (20%) and DR (80%)KPI’s
  • Research & setting up client campaigns across Social and within 3rd party Adservers from scratch
  • Troubleshooting tracking and set-up issues within all buying platforms and adserver.
  • Responsible for day to day management of these campaigns for a range of clients,working towards pre-defined goals and optimising against the performance of these goals.

  • Reporting back to the Account Manager and Director on performance of campaigns in Excel and keeping them abreast of changes and optimisations made on those campaigns.
  • Generate and analyse advanced daily/weekly/monthly reports and highlight insights

  • Defining requirements, tracking implementation and ad server integration with bid management tools
  • Research, create and monitor scalable and effective Social campaigns from scratch
  • Involved into CPC/CPA/ROI optimisation, A/B testing etc.
  • Plan and forecast performance according to the trends and seasonality
  • Budget management

Experience/Skills required:

  • Proven experience in managing and optimising paid social DR and Brand campaigns
  • Previous exposure to the use of third party tracking to execute monitor and optimise campaigns
  • Experience of setting up and maintaining client reports in Excel
  • Understanding of latest trends & technology

Desirable

  • Ad-ops experience advantageous
  • Experience running non-social campaigns – e.g PPC, Display

Qualifications
