This is a fabulous opportunity for a talented and ambitious Client Services Director looking for the opportunity to make their mark within a growing agency.  This role would suit an exceptional individual with the ability and experience to lead the Account Management function on a day to day basis.

The candidate will need to be an impressive and confident individual with high levels of gravitas, integrity and influence that both clients and internal teams will love. The successful candidate will be highly experienced and have an established presence and deep understanding of the advertising marketplace. They will radiate the absolute standard that this agency strives to achieve, thriving under pressure and leading the team by example.

The role will be approximately 70% account team nurturing,  supporting the account team to service, retain and grow their existing clients ensuring that they are receiving amazing work which is genuinely adding value to their business. The remaining 30% will be focused on your own direct clients.

The Client Services Director will work extremely closely with the Paid Social, SEO, Analytics and wider media specialists in the UK but it is their responsibility to make sure the activity they are executing is well run and communicated to clients in a clear way.

Required Skills and Experience

  • An extensive, successful background in a senior media agency management/director level role, with experience across digital and/or offline media channels
  • Experience working with sizeable budgets and global brands
  • Strong understanding of where a client’s brand fits in the wider marketing mix
  • Ability to quickly develop a deep understanding of a client’s business and how they make their money
  • Must be able to excite and motivate our internal teams and our clients through their personality, thought leadership and ideas.
  • Must be seen as a leader that radiates influence and gravitas giving clients and teams confidence in your ability and decision making
  • Extremely high attention to detail
  • Must be able to think on their feet and thrive on responsibility
  • An understanding of the commercials of online and offline marketing and ecommerce
  • Ability to manage own workload to ensure that individual, team and company targets are achieve
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to manage internal and external relationships
  • Amazing organisational skills to allow for client and team management against tight deadlines and ambitious goals taking into account multiple time zones
  • Superb knowledge of digital media channels
  • Superb experience in digital planning and buying
  • Understanding the role of all digital channels across Display, Paid Social, PPC & SEO
  • Strong experience in programmatic and the different opportunities in the market
  • Strong relationships with digital media owners

Responsibilities

 The key responsibilities of the Client Services Director will include but are not limited to:

  • Heading up the account management function on a day to day basis
  • Manage the account team’s work flow
  • Be the escalation point for any issues that arise with the account team or clients
  • Be proactive in generating and nurturing potential new revenue streams across all clients
  • Setting the strategy and planning the media mix for clients
  • Delivering on the agency promise across everything they do
  • Leading the client relationship, including on calls and in meetings
  • Regularly auditing accounts to improve performance
  • Liaise with 3rd party providers and partners to resolve any issues as they arise
  • Manage and co-ordinate the team and our freelancers where necessary to ensure our high quality of work is maintained
