The role:

This role is for a talented and ambitious Paid Search expert, who is looking for the opportunity to make their mark within a growing agency.

The successful candidate will join a growing team in a client facing role that is responsible for owning the day to day execution of all areas of paid search activity, employing strong platform knowledge and supplier relationships to deliver amazing planning, testing, optimisation and analysis.

Responsibilities will include:

  • To work with the wider team in setting strategies and planning the media mix for paid search campaigns
  • Take ownership of clients’ testing plans to organise both tactical, and mid- term campaign actions and goals, and manage the planning, execution & evaluation of tests with methodical accuracy
  • Delivering on the agency promise across everything they do
  • Contribute on client calls and meetings
  • Regularly auditing accounts to improve performance
  • Liaise with 3rd party providers and partners to resolve any issues as they arise
  • Work with and co-ordinate freelancers where necessary to ensure a high quality of work is maintained
  • To invest time promoting and training team members in the role that Paid Search plays in the wider ecosystem.
  • To support all team members in acquiring their Adwords qualifications.

Experience/Skills required:

  • Understanding of where paid search fits in the wider digital marketing mix
  • An understanding of the commercials of online marketing and ecommerce
  • Ability to manage own workload to ensure that individual, team and company
  • targets are achieved
  • Experience with planning and running PPC accounts directly through Adwords and
  • Bing and via third party platforms e.g. Doubleclick Search, Marin.
  • Full Google AdWords Certification
  • Proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookups, etc)
  • Experience with sizeable campaigns and budgets
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to manage internal and external relationships

    • Exceptional level of English, both written and spoken
    • Strong numerical and analytical capabilities, including use and creation of Excel formula

The Account Manager will be an established and proven expert in Paid Social and/or Paid Search campaigns. This role requires an understanding of the way in which channels interact and complement one another, as well as the technical capabilities to execute high-performance paid campaigns.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Working closely with clients to ensure a full understanding of their business, digital needs and priorities
  • Working closely with the Head of Digital and Account Director to ensure all accounts have a performance & commercial strategy
  • Working closely with suppliers to ensure that the team are constantly at the forefront of industry developments

  • Proven track record of developing junior team members
  • Proven track record of bringing efficiency to client activity in terms of both performance and resource levels
  • Experience of executing campaigns within other Paid Media channels beneficial
  • Strong understanding of wider digital channels and environment
  • Highly organised with an acute attention to detail
  • Exceptional level of English, both written and spoken
  • Strong numerical and analytical capabilities, including use and creation of Excel formula
  • Additional language capabilities beneficial

This is an exciting chance for an inquisitive, adaptable and result driven individual with experience in technical client services role in the digital marketing technology industry.

Joining a dedicated team, part of an international media company, who are responsible for providing technical solutions and strategies to help clients achieve their digital marketing objectives. This includes integrating new clients across digital marketing platforms, managing the technical relationship with existing clients, driving automation initiatives, and providing technical sales support.

This is a unique role that combines aspects of a web technologist, business analyst and solutions architect.

You will leverage your technical capabilities, commercial acumen, and knowledge to design and deliver actionable strategies and solutions.

You will be responsible for…

  • Developing scripts, maintaining database tables, and processing data feeds to support new client initiatives
  • Integrating clients into the system: designing, developing, implementing, and testing technical solutions based on client and business requirements
  • On-going support & maintenance of existing clients
  • Ensuring the quality and efficiency of your output meets internal service levels

  • Good coding skills (HTML and JavaScript)
  • Ideally have knowledge of scripting languages (PHP, shell, python) – this is a bonus
